April 17th – Campground opens.
April 24th – 26th – CLEAN-UP WEEKEND – Welcome to our clean-up weekend.   We offer a two for one weekend – pay $30.00 for Friday night and stay free on Saturday night plus receive a coupon for $30.00 to be used towards another camping stay of two nights or more sometime during the 2015 season. Saturday will be clean-up day at Waupaca Camping Park.  Please bring your own rakes and, if you want, your leaf blowers.  Saturday evening (between 5:00 & 6:00pm) there will be a potluck supper.  We ask all of you to please bring a homemade dish to pass, or relishes, salads, breads, desserts, etc. Meat and buns will be provided. Hope to see you this weekend.  (Rental units are not available.)

May 2nd – RMC Fun Run – 1 mile//5K Run/Walk (to pre register visit www.riversidemedical.org)

May 8th – 10th - $50.00 Weekend – Families only - any site - No rental units.

May 9th - Weyauwega City Wide Rummage-A-Rama AND Iola Lioness Annual Village Wide Rummage Sale (9am-5pm)

May 15th – 17th - $50.00 Weekend – Families only - any site - No rental units.Campground offers a playground

May 16th - Amish Quilt Auction - Held at the Fairgrounds in Amherst. Preview begins at 7am; Auction begins at 9am. (Crafts, quilts, furniture, bake sale)

May 17th – WI Veterans Home Open House and Old Car Show @ King – a full day of activities: Old Car Show, military vehicles, tours, excursions on the Chain O' Lakes, band concerts, food & refreshments.

May 22nd – 25th – Memorial Day Weekend (3 night minimum) 

May 25th – Memorial Day Observance at WI Veterans Home in King (starts at 9:30am); Parade & Ceremony downtown Waupaca (starts at 9am)

June 5th – 7th – Annual Tri-County Thresheree in Plainfield @ Veterans Memorial Park (Hwy 73 – 1 mile east of 51/39) featuring Threshing, Corn Shredding, Blacksmith, Old Tractors, Steam & Gas Engines; other activities from the past; Flea Market. 

June 6th – Free fishing weekend State wide

June 19th – 21st – Midwest Renewable Energy Fair – Amherst, WI (715-592-6595)

June 20th – Annual Waupaca Strawberry Fest – Annual summer festival- art/craft fair, live entertainment, family activities, strawberry shortcake, a children’s costume contest, great food. (Downtown Waupaca)

June 20th – 21st – Waupaca Model Railroad Show at the Waupaca Recreation Center

June 21st – Father’s Day – Ice Cream Social Sat evening, June 20th. (Nominal charge)

June 21st – Annual Lion’s Fly-In/Drive-In Pancake Breakfast at the Waupaca Municipal Airport on Hwy 10. 

June 27th – CRAFT FAIR - 10am-3pm.  Calling all campers! Bring your crafts and set up at your campsite. See what talents your fellow campers have!

July 2nd – 4th – Annual Mid-Western Rodeo in Manawa.

July 3rd – Lighted boat Parade at Clear Water Harbor (9:15pm); Weyauwega Independence Day Fireworks at Waupaca Co Fairgrounds

July 4th – Happy 4th of July! Waupaca Hometown days – Parade at 10am on Main St; Knights of Columbus chicken barbecue & Kiwanis food stand at South Park; Chain Skiers at 6:30pm (WI Veterans Home); Fireworks at 9:30pm over Shadow Lake. (3 night minimum)

July 9th – 12th – IOLA OLD CAR SHOW (3 night minimum)

July 16th – 19th – Portage County Fair – Amherst Fairgrounds; Truck & tractor pull on Thurs & Fri; Demolition Derby Sun night 

July 24th – 26th – Antique Tractor Pull and Thresheree in Symco.

July 27th – August 2nd – Annual EAA Fly-In at Oshkosh, WI

July 31st – August 2nd – Scandinavia Corn Roast in Scandinavia

August 8th – 9th - Iola Vintage Military & Gun Show

August 14th – 15th – Arts on the Square – Downtown Waupaca – Friday night street dance. Saturday includes Art workshops, farmers market, entertainment, street performers. Visitors can view & create their own art.

August 15th – Annual Waupaca Area TRIATHLON (Kids mini triathlon ages 10 and under on Friday, Aug 14th 6pm at South Park) (2 night minimum)

August 15th – Noah’s Ark Workshop @ 2.00pm – Come one – come all; Fun for everyone!  **Make your own Furry Friend!** More details at the Office.

August 16th – Ride Waupaca – John Hatherly Mid Century “Ride Waupaca” – one of the most scenic Century Rides in the Mid West. 12, 20, 50, 62, 70, & 100 mile rides. All proceeds benefit Waupaca High School Scholarships.

August 22nd - Waupaca Rod & Classic Car Show and Cruise – (@ South Park)

August 26th – 30th –Waupaca County Fair (Fairgrounds in Weyauwega)

JUNE – LABOR DAY – Hutchinson House Museum – At South Park; Open Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, & Holidays, 1 – 5pm

Mid-June to Mid-August: Chapel on the Lakes – 1 hour Chief Waupaca cruise with church service every Thursday at 6pm. CTY Road QQ in King on the Chain O’ Lakes

Mid June through July – Band Concerts on the City Square, downtown Waupaca, every Friday evening at 7pm.

June, July, August – Webfooters Ski Shows in Fremont on the Wolf River: Sundays and Wednesdays at 6:00pm (Free)

June, July, August – Chain Skiers Water Shows – held in front of Wisconsin Veterans Home on Rainbow Lake; Saturdays @ 6:30PM (Junior Show @ 6pm)
